New Blueprint Aids Diversity Officers in Organizations

A comprehensive blueprint for establishing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) positions in organizations has been crafted. Aimed at assisting new Diversity Officers and providing guidance to think tank leaders and HR, this tool is set to streamline the planning and understanding of these roles.

The blueprint is the result of discussions during the Think Tank Lab Diversity Challenge and input from seasoned DEI professionals. Key figures behind its creation include Ayşe Yürekli, an expert in EU policy and DEI promotion, who has held senior roles at TUSIAD and BBI. Also involved is Barbara Pongratz, an analyst at MERICS specialising in Sino-German relations and environmental policy.

Andre Weisser, Community Manager at the Tony Blair Institute and former diversity coordinator at SNV, played a significant part in developing the blueprint. It is designed to help new Diversity Officers navigate their roles and plan their activities effectively.

The blueprint for DEI positions, created by a team of experienced professionals, is now available to guide organizations in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. It is expected to facilitate the work of Diversity Officers and promote a more inclusive environment in think tanks and other organizations.
