No membership charges on our site for the years 2024 and 2025
In a historic move, the European Beekeeping Association (EBA) has announced that it will not charge membership fees for 2024 and 2025. This decision, made by the Executive Board, is part of the association's efforts to become the union of all European beekeepers.
Boštjan Noč, the President of the EBA, has stated that the association aims to work hard and responsibly for bees, beekeepers, and consumers during these two years. Mr. Noč, who will work without compensation for the next two years, has also expressed his ambition to realize the main goals within this period.
The EBA's decision to waive membership fees is not a blanket offer, however. National beekeeping associations joining the EBA by October 1st, 2024, will be exempted from paying the membership fee for 2024 and 2025. Membership for those who join by 17.6.2024, certain national or other beekeeping associations joining by October 1, 2024, and for those who wish to withdraw from the association are also free of charge.
Meetings of the Executive Board in 2024 and 2025 will be held online or through Viber and WhatsApp groups to minimize expenses. The President's travel expenses for these activities will be covered by the meeting organizer or the European Beekeeping Association.
It is important to note that there is no specific information available regarding the conditions for free membership in the EBA for 2024 and 2025. For up-to-date membership terms, it is recommended to consult the official European Beekeeping Association website or contact them directly.
The EBA's commitment to its members and the beekeeping community does not end with the waived membership fees. Mr. Noč, the President, has also stated that the EBA will work diligently to produce results that will be presented in the best light by 2026.
