Poultry factory in Yakutia finishes second phase of renovation

In the heart of Siberia, the Yakutsk Poultry Farm has marked a significant milestone with the completion of the first stage of its reconstruction in July 2024. This ambitious project, known as 'Capital Renovation of Workshop No. 27 of JSC 'Yakutsk Poultry Farm'", is set to modernise and expand the farm's operations.

The farm, under the leadership of General Director Natalia Dyagileva, has seen numerous updates to its infrastructure. The conveyor belts, crushing installations, technological lines, and automated management systems have all been upgraded, aiming to increase efficiency and productivity.

The first stage of the project has already shown promising results. Egg production for the January-August period exceeded the plan by 4.3%, with a total of 67,226 thousand units produced. Alongside this, 157.5 thousand birds were supplied, contributing to the increased output.

The success of the first stage has led to the completion of the second stage, with the recent operation of the Feed Mill at the farm. By 2025, the farm plans to replace equipment for producing feed flour and install a 50-ton refrigeration system.

The upcoming repairs to Workshop No. 27 will include a new equipment setup for 55,680 laying hens. Additionally, an 8,000-ton grain elevator complex for storing wheat and barley is also planned, demonstrating the farm's commitment to self-sufficiency.

Furthermore, a 1,475 sq.m. raw material warehouse is in the works, ensuring the farm has ample space for its operations. Project and estimate documents for this phase are currently being developed at the farm.

As the reconstruction continues, the Yakutsk Poultry Farm is on track to significantly increase its egg and poultry meat production. A total of 62,622 thousand eggs were sold, along with 183.5 tons of poultry meat, during the January-August period.

The farm's efforts are not just about numbers, though. By investing in its infrastructure, the Yakutsk Poultry Farm is contributing to the local economy and food security in the region. Stay tuned for more updates as the reconstruction progresses.
