Introducing the STING Packages: Apocalypse-Ready Upgrades for Tesla Cybertruck
In a collaboration between Archimedes Defense, Unplugged Performance, and UP.FIT, a new line of upgrades for the Tesla Cybertruck has been unveiled. Known as the STING packages, these apocalypse-ready, highly mobile upgrade kits are designed for both civilian and military use in various threat environments.
The STING packages are based on Unplugged's existing INVINCIBLE off-road components for the Cybertruck. The STING Protector package includes the UP INVINCIBLE off-road package and bolt-on, bolt-off external offset steel armor plating capable of withstanding 7.62mm assault rifle rounds from key azimuths. This package is designed for private individuals, corporations, and government customers in moderate threat environments.
For those seeking even more protection, the STING APC package is available. This package takes STING armoring to the next level, with added IED/mine protection and upgraded bolt-on, bolt-off external offset steel and ceramic armor plating. The STING APC package is built to shield occupants from 14.5mm heavy machine gun rounds from key azimuths, making it suitable for the most demanding tactical customers in high threat environments.
For off-grid recharging capability, the STING packages have been designed with this in mind. The STING Protector package is available with and without a genset, while the STING Baja package includes a compact, lightweight frunk-mounted AMP Drive G125 aviation-derived 800V genset. The STING Baja package is capable of supercharging the Cybertruck at up to 125kW and rescue-charging other vehicles via an included NACS charging cable. The AMP Drive G125 genset is efficient and multi-fuel capable, running on Jet A, JP-8, Diesel, and Biodiesel.
The STING Baja package also comes with adaptors for non-NACS vehicles, making it a versatile choice for various vehicles.
Ben Schaffer, CEO of Unplugged Performance, stated that UP.FIT has already set the standard with their police Cybertrucks, and with STING, they are pushing the limits even further. The military Cybertrucks under the STING program are designed to be more extreme, with enhanced protection and unmatched capabilities.
STING packages are now available for preorder via Archimedes, and Cybertrucks outfitted for police use can be purchased from UP.FIT and Unplugged Performance's INVINCIBLE parts are available for standalone order.
