Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bengaluru on Sunday, August 10, 2025, with a packed itinerary that includes the inauguration of the Vande Bharat train service between Bengaluru and Belagavi, as well as the Yellow Metro Line.

The Prime Minister's visit will commence with his arrival at HAL Airport, Bengaluru, followed by a road trip to Sangolli Rayanna (KSR) Railway Station at around 11:00 AM. Here, he will flag off three Vande Bharat Express trains, including the Bengaluru-Belagavi route.

Following this, he will travel to Ragigudda (RV Road) to flag off the Yellow line of the Bengaluru Metro Phase-2 project. This 19 km corridor, valued at approximately ₹7,160 crore, runs from RV Road to Bommasandra, with 16 stations.

After the inauguration, the Prime Minister will undertake a metro ride on the Yellow line from RV Road to Electronic City Metro Station, demonstrating the functional connectivity of the new line.

At around 1:00 PM, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for the Bengaluru Metro Phase-3 project, which aims to improve urban connectivity across the city. This project, worth over ₹15,610 crore, will add 44 km of elevated track and 31 stations.

The itinerary also includes stops at Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station and Ragigudda, but there is no direct mention of a stop or event at South End Circle in the detailed schedule from the available sources.

Traffic restrictions will be in place in Bengaluru from about 8:30 or 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM to facilitate the Prime Minister's movement during these events.

Thousands of BJP workers will gather to welcome Prime Minister Modi at various locations along the Yellow Metro Line, including Mekhri Circle, Chalukya Circle, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, South End Circle, Ragigudda, Electronic City Metro Station, and all other stations along the line.

A programme is scheduled at the Electronic City Metro Station during the Prime Minister's visit. Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai.
