Vertex Minerals Advances Gold Production at Reward Mine in NSW

Vertex Minerals Limited, an Australian gold exploration company listed on the ASX under the code VTX and OTC under VTXXF, is making significant strides in the development of its advanced Hargraves and Hill End gold projects in Central West NSW.

The company's focus is on advancing the commercial production of gold from its NSW projects, with the Reward Gold Mine in NSW, Australia, currently operational. Vertex Minerals is processing low-grade stockpiled gold ore through its gravity plant and producing saleable gold during Q2 2025. The company is also preparing for underground mining at Reward, with plans to deliver its first underground high-grade gold ore to the Gravity Gold plant in Q3 2025.

Key progress highlights at the Reward Gold Mine include the completion of mine infrastructure such as mine dewatering systems, ventilation fans, electrical transformers, and magazine construction. Mining machinery, including a Jumbo drill and tracked utility vehicles, have been operational underground. The company has identified and designed initial airleg stopes and high-grade long hole stopes, with an inferred resource of 2,075 tonnes at 17.8 g/t Au in stope blocks ready for production start-up. Rehabilitation work has been completed, and mine planning is ongoing for both the Reward Ore Zone and Central Broad Zone access.

Vertex Minerals has also appointed new key management personnel to support operations at the Reward Gold Mine.

Regarding the Hill End gold project, the latest quarterly reports from mid-2025 primarily detail activities centered on the Reward Gold Mine, which is part of Vertex Minerals' portfolio near Hill End. No separate production status or development updates for other separate projects in Hill End beyond Reward have been highlighted.

In addition to its NSW projects, Vertex Minerals also has assets in the Pride of Elvire gold project and Taylors Rock gold/nickel/lithium project in the Eastern Goldfields of WA.

Tully Richards serves as the Technical Director of Vertex Minerals, while Roger Jackson holds the position of Executive Chairman. Roger Jackson's email address is [email protected].

The advancements in gold production at Vertex Minerals' Reward Mine in NSW not only indicate progress in the industry but also signify significant financial gains for the company. As the company prepares to deliver its first underground high-grade gold ore to the Gravity Gold plant in Q3 2025, it is clear that the finance sector will benefit from the saleable gold produced.
