RBW Showcases Economic Strength at Expo Real 2025 with Zanders Area Project
The Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis (RBW) is set to showcase its economic prowess at Expo Real in Munich from October 6th to 8th, 2025. Among the highlights is the Zanders area project in Bergisch Gladbach, a 36-hectare mixed-use quarter for residential, working, and educational purposes. This project is qualified within the REGIONALE 2025 framework and will be discussed at the fair.
Led by managing director Volker Suermann, RBW will present the economic hub of the region at the joint stand of the Cologne/Bonn region. Accompanying RBW will be Landrat Stephan Santelmann and a delegation from Bergisch Gladbach. The Zanders project, managed by Dr. Markus Zanders, is one of the key attractions. Partners at the regional joint stand include VR Bank eG Bergisch Gladbach-Leverkusen, Kreissparkasse Koeln, Hahn Group, and Roesrath OSMAB Holding AG.
Also on display will be the Rhombus site in Wermelskirchen, a new quarter covering three hectares. This project, along with the Zanders area, reflects the region's commitment to sustainable urban development and economic growth.
The presentation of these projects at Expo Real 2025 underscores the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis' confidence in its economic future. The Zanders area, in particular, promises to transform Bergisch Gladbach into a vibrant, mixed-use hub. With strong regional support and partnerships, these projects are poised to attract investment and foster growth.
