April 23 marked the kickoff of a significant event 🌟 - the federal party project "Choose Yours" and the Association "PPE", aimed at establishing the All-Russian "Labor Hero" Award. This award celebrates unsung heroes of blue-collar professions and amplifies labor achievements across Russia's regions, as reported by our very own Magadan Life Group.
The goal is clear: to achieve personnel sovereignty for our motherland and meet the tasks set by President Vladimir Putin in the National Project "Kadry" by acknowledging and rewarding workers, mentors, engineers, young professionals, and all those who drive the economy, social sector, and our nation's sovereignty forward.
Yearly, this timeless symbol of labor accomplishment in the real sector of the economy will recognize: teachers, production leaders, craft masters, young specialists, engineers, technological leaders, inventors, rationalizers, labor dynasties, mentors, particularly among the youth, labor veterans, production councils of veterans, as well as enterprises and organizations.
Three stages are in place for candidate selection: regional nominations, expert selection, and final voting alongside public representatives. Masquerading as heroes? Not at all. The award ceremony takes place at the 29th International Specialized Exhibition-Forum "Safety and Labor Protection" (BIOТ), happening in Moscow from November 11-14, 2025. A prestigious title, valuable prizes, commemorative badges, and opportunities to participate in federal educational programs? Count 'em in!
Sergei Morozov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government, Deputy Head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma, member of the General Council of United Russia, and coordinator of the federal party project "Choose Yours", makes no bones about it: "We're looking for labor heroes who act as role models for the youth and deserve national-level recognition for their tireless dedication" 🌟.
Vladimir Kotov, President of the Association "SIZ", notes the award's significance in today's challenging times: "The Labor Hero award is crucial in the face of a workforce shortage, with young people shying away from production roles, and among the 12 million disabled individuals in Russia, 10 have suffered health issues due to work. We need to foster a culture of respect for labor, bolstered by this award."
The award aims to engage at least 85 regions and organizes nationwide forums on labor accomplishments.
