Upon approval, the MFA will grant registration within five business days, issuing a certificate valid for three years.

Staff Accreditation: Working the System

When it comes to staff accreditation, the MFA takes the reigns once more. They handle accreditation for employees, as well as their accompanying family members.

The family tribe includes:1. Spouses2. Unmarried children: a. Under 18 b. Between 18 and 21, provided they're enrolled in higher or secondary vocational schools in Kazakhstan3. Parents and children under 25, who are financially dependent, under the principle of reciprocity or confirmed by a letter from the sending state's foreign ministry, or from the international organization’s headquarters.

Submit a verbal note to the MFA, requesting accreditation for the specified individuals, accompanied by the necessary documents:- Accreditation application form- Two identical photographs (3x4 cm, white background)- Foreign passport and diplomatic or service visa (if applicable)- Entry stamp into Kazakhstan- Marriage certificate (for spouses)- Birth certificate (for children under 18)- Certificate from a higher or secondary special educational institution in RK (for children enrolled in Kazakhstani schools)

Documents issued by foreign authorities must be consular legalized or hold an apostille. Translations should be certified in the state or Russian language.

If all documents are in order, the MFA will issue accreditation certificates within three business days. If further study or verification is required, the process may take up to two additional months.

Accreditation certificates are usually valid for three years.

The new order takes effect on 7 May 2025.
