From June 30 to November 15, 2025, Vincenzenbronner Hauptstraße (State Road 2245, St 2245) in Vincenzenbronn, Germany, will undergo extensive sanitation, maintenance, and expansion works. This comprehensive project will involve multiple construction sections along the road, requiring full closures to facilitate the works effectively.

The construction zone will cover a length of approximately 266 meters in some segments, notably affecting areas around Amselstraße, between Quellenweg and the St 2245 intersection at Vincenzenbronner Hauptstraße. As a result, the road will be fully closed in several sections, leading to significant traffic restrictions.

To manage the impact on traffic flow, alternative routes have been arranged and clearly signposted for drivers to use during the construction period. Motorists are advised to expect possible delays and follow the designated detours. The works, which run through several months, mean that travelers and local residents should plan their routes to accommodate these restrictions and allow extra travel time.

It's worth noting that construction work on nearby streets, such as Vogtsreichenbacher Straße and Fritz-Erler-Straße in Fürth, may also influence broader traffic patterns in the region during this period.

Public transport will have restrictions during the construction phase in Vincenzenbronn. However, the school bus line for the Großhabersdorf primary school will continue to operate as usual.

In addition, during the first construction phase, the connecting road to Fernabrünst will remain passable. Nevertheless, the intersection between St 2245 and the connecting road to Fernabrünst will be completely closed during this phase.

A waste collection point will be set up at the Kirchbergstraße / Hauptstraße junction for some households due to inaccessibility during the construction. The Firth District Office has announced that the renovation work will last until November 15, 2025.

The municipality of Großhabersdorf and the State Building Authority of Nuremberg have already informed the residents of Vincenzenbronn about the construction project. The first construction phase will begin at the western entrance of the village and end just before Kirchbergstraße.

Finally, it's important to mention that the second construction phase, affecting the eastern village bypass, is scheduled for spring 2026. Motorists are encouraged to stay informed and follow the official detour signs to ensure a smooth journey during this period.

  1. Due to the construction project in Vincenzenbronn, local residents and travelers alike might encounter changes in transportation patterns, as alternative routes have been established for affected roads such as Vogtsreichenbacher Straße and Fritz-Erler-Straße in Fürth.
  2. The school bus line for the Großhabersdorf primary school will continue to operate as usual, but the financial implications for the transportation industry may increase during the construction period due to the need for extra detours and possible delays for other motorists.
