Sanofi continues to work with Havas Media as their primary media agency in the US.
In a significant move, Havas Media has been appointed as the U.S. media agency of record for Sanofi, a leading global healthcare company. The announcement was made by Shane Ankeney, President of Havas Media Group North America, in an internal memo obtained by Adweek.
The news comes after a six-month review process by Sanofi. Havas Media's role will include media planning and buying for Sanofi's brands in the U.S., managing the majority of Sanofi's spending in the region.
Shane Ankeney, who serves as the Chief Client Officer (CCO) at Havas Media Group North America, will be responsible for the development and nurturing of client relationships, the implementation of media strategies, and the promotion of innovation within the agency group. As CCO, Ankeney holds one of the most important leadership positions in the North American business of Havas Media Group, with a focus on meeting the needs and ensuring the success of clients.
Meanwhile, outside the U.S., Sanofi has named Omnicom Media Group's dedicated Sanofi @ Omnicom unit as the global media agency of record for Sanofi. The review resulted in this decision, according to Adweek.
This appointment marks a significant win for Havas Media, further strengthening their position in the healthcare sector. With their expertise in media planning and buying, Havas Media is well-equipped to help Sanofi effectively reach and engage their target audience in the U.S.
