Bridge Construction Progressing on County Road 9 Between Ramelsloh and Harmstorf

Construction work is currently underway on County Road 9, located between Ramelsloh and Harmstorf, where a new bridge is being built. The construction company i-Bau from Behringen is responsible for the project.

The bridge construction involves spanning a railway line with heavy machinery. A total of 3,000 square meters of temporary construction road has been created to facilitate the work. Approximately 8,000 cubic meters of soil have been processed for the widening of the dam and slope areas, and 2,500 cubic meters of sand have been filled in. So far, 800 cubic meters of reinforced concrete and 150 tons of reinforcement steel have been used in the bridge construction.

However, there have been some delays due to the prolonged rain. Earthworks for excavating the foundations could not be carried out as planned. Despite this, the delay has since been caught up.

The goods traffic route of the railway between Maschen and Jesteburg is fully closed due to the bridge installation. No new information about the impact of the bridge installation on the Maschen-Jesteburg railway line was provided.

Work on the bridge and adjacent areas is scheduled to be completed by March next year. No new information about the size of the construction road, soil processing, sand filling, soil excavation, or materials used was provided. Additionally, no new information about the work schedule for the adjacent areas was provided.

The construction project is currently on schedule, and the progress is being closely monitored. The community is advised to exercise caution and follow traffic detours as necessary during the construction period.
