SCTA Launches Generator Replacement Project in Lancaster, PA
South Central Transit Authority (SCTA) has announced a project to replace the generator at 45 Erick Road, Lancaster, PA. Interested contractors can submit bids via PennBid until 1:00 PM on November 6, 2025.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the project site. Bids will be opened and reviewed at the designated time via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
Contractors must comply with various laws and regulations, including Buy America, Non-Discrimination, and others relevant to the project. They must also provide a cashier's check or acceptable Bidder's Bond, payable to SCTA, along with their bid. Upon award, a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract price, will be required.
SCTA reserves the right to reject bids from non-responsible bidders or waive informalities or technicalities. All submissions and contracts are subject to applicable state and federal laws. No submissions may be withdrawn for 60 days after the due date.
The generator replacement project at Erick Road is expected to enhance the reliability of public transportation in the area. Interested contractors are encouraged to participate in the bidding process, ensuring they comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
