Shift in Demographics across East Friesland
In a series of appointments, Holger Keck and Henning Bernau are set to take on key roles at NV Insurance, a company formerly known as Neuharlingersiel Insurance from Ostfriesland.
Holger Keck, who began his career at the Ostfriesische Landschaftliche Brandkasse (OF) in Aurich in 1993, will assume the role of Chairman of the board at NV Insurance. With an impressive background in leading positions at OF, Keck will be responsible for approximately 55.9 million euros in capital investment at NV Insurance. He will also oversee the areas of damage, operations, and IT. Remarkably, Keck will be the ninth person to hold the top position in NV Insurance's over 200-year history, taking over from the current chairman, Arend Arends, who is set to retire on July 30, 2021.
Meanwhile, Henning Bernau, who has been working for NV since September 1, 2013, will be responsible for sales, marketing, and personnel. Bernau has served as a proxy and overall sales manager for NV and, prior to joining the company, held various roles at OF. He has now been appointed to the NV board by the supervisory board. Bernau will join Keck as a board member of NV Insurance.
