State Grid Completes Major Rural Power Grid Project in China's Jishishan County
State Grid Linxia Power Supply Company has completed a major rural power grid consolidation and enhancement project in Jishishan County, Linxia, Gansu, China. The final 12-meter electric pole was installed, marking the end of the project. This initiative is seen as a key move to drive local industrial development and support the long-term economy.
The project, set to be fully operational by 2025, comprises 907 individual projects spread across 17 townships and 134 administrative villages. It includes the installation of new distribution transformer capacity of 800 kVA and new line length of 2.2 kilometers. The first batch of 12 units and the second batch of 14 units have already been or will be put into operation.
Manager Zhou Wei of the State Grid Jishishan County Power Supply Company led the project. The company used a dynamic construction list and 11 construction teams to accelerate the work. Upon completion, the project will provide stable and reliable electricity for residents and powerful electricity for industrial development, directly benefiting six demonstration projects such as a quinoa processing park and a cold chain facility. It is expected to create employment for over 1,000 people and support the growth of the local economy.
