Porsche has announced the upcoming release of the 2026 Taycan Black Edition, a new variant of their popular electric sports car that promises to deliver a darker, more aggressive look, and enhanced performance.

Despite being Porsche's golden child, the Taycan has become their slowest seller in 2025. The Black Edition is part of Porsche's strategy to boost sales by offering value packages and standardising desirable features.

As for the price, Porsche has yet to release official figures for the 2026 Taycan Black Edition. However, given the additional features, it is expected to be higher than the base model price of $102,550, including delivery. If the additional features were added à la carte, they could increase the price to around $130,000. Therefore, the Black Edition may be priced below this figure, possibly around $125,000 for the base model.
