Stuttgart Trade Fair Achieves All-Time High in Annual Sales

**Stuttgart Trade Fair Achieves Record-Breaking Success in 2024**

The Stuttgart Trade Fair (Messe Stuttgart) has announced a remarkable achievement, recording its best financial result since its inception in 2024. With a turnover of 228.5 million euros and a profit of almost 50 million euros, the trade fair surpassed its pre-pandemic levels from 2019 and set a new benchmark in its 105-year history.

Roland Bleinroth, Managing Director of the Stuttgart Trade Fair, attributes this success to a packed calendar, strong leading trade fairs, high internationality, and the great commitment of the teams. The trade fair hosted 62 events in 2024, including the leading trade fairs CMT, R+T, Intergastra with the IKA/Olympiade of Cooks, and the Machine Tool Fair AMB. Over 1.2 million visitors attended these events, reflecting the public's interest in the innovative and sustainable technologies showcased.

The Stuttgart Trade Fair's focus on international markets has been instrumental in attracting a high proportion of foreign guests and exhibitors. In 2024, this proportion surpassed 30%, with the strategy targeting markets in India, Turkey, China, and the USA.

Looking ahead to 2025, the Stuttgart Trade Fair is set to host several key events. LogiMAT 2025, scheduled for March 11 to March 13, will focus on distribution, materials handling, and information flow, showcasing innovative logistics technologies. Adhesives & Bonding Expo Europe 2025, taking place from November 11 to November 13, will feature adhesives, sealants, tapes, and related bonding technologies, including sustainable adhesives and chemical recycling solutions. BlechExpo 2025, from October 21 to October 24, will present the latest technologies in sheet metal processing, with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in manufacturing.

However, the current year, 2025, is experiencing noticeable restraint in bookings due to the third consecutive recession year. Despite this, the Stuttgart Trade Fair remains optimistic, providing platforms for businesses to network, explore new technologies, and optimize operations despite economic uncertainties.

The Stuttgart Trade Fair's success in 2024 is considered exceptional in every respect, marking a significant comeback after the losses caused by the Corona pandemic. The merged operating company, Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH & Co. KG, will continue to strive for such accomplishments in the future.

Economic and social policy, through the successful management of the Stuttgart Trade Fair, has contributed significantly to the growth of the industry in 2024. The record-breaking financial results, with a turnover of 228.5 million euros and a profit of almost 50 million euros, demonstrate the positive impact finance and business have had on the event's success.
