Speedywash Showcases Sustainable Mobile Brush Washing System at NUFAM 2023
The commercial vehicle industry gathered in Karlsruhe, Germany, for the NUFAM 2023 event, which ran from September 25 to 28. This year's focus was on alternative drives, digitization, and sustainability, attracting around 400 exhibitors from 23 nations and approximately 24,000 visitors.
One of the exhibitors, Bavarian brush washing system specialist Speedywash, presented their eco-friendly mobile brush washing system, the Battery Easydrive. This innovative system, which can potentially reduce washing time to under ten minutes compared to manual washing or using a car wash, offers various sustainability features.
The Battery Easydrive system can be powered by battery, cable-bound systems powered by PV electricity, or charging. It also includes an optional water-saving system and the ability to use rainwater instead of fresh water, making it a more environmentally friendly choice. Speedywash reports that the Battery Easydrive system has been increasingly in demand as a sustainable investment.
The system is battery-operated, quiet, and emission-free, making it ideal for use in urban environments. A height-adjustable and movable steering tiller, which can be mounted on one or both sides of the brush washing system, enables the functionality of the Battery Easydrive system.
Speedywash's sales director, Adolf Binni, described the show as one of the best in 2023 for the company. Numerous personal conversations took place during the event, and the Battery Easydrive model was one of three mobile single-brush washing systems presented at the NUFAM in Karlsruhe.
The Battery Easydrive system also features a battery return system, ensuring the sustainability of its operation. The event had a high attendance of industry professionals, and the organizers described the event as a resounding success.
