The project's been a rollercoaster, with more personnel, materials, and a sprinkle of good weather helping it progress more swiftly than expected.
Demolition work even took place over the weekends, pulverizing the northern part of the Endenicher Ei bridge and the supporting walls between the parts. In the direction of Meckenheim, the road was lowered, and a new gabion retaining wall was built at the Endenich exit. Pheww!
