Tram lines 2 and 3 reroutes because of the Bremen Music Festival taking place at Marktplatz
The Power weekend, scheduled from September 6th to 9th, will bring about changes in the public transportation system in Bremen. The construction site in the St. Jürgen Street area will cause disruptions, leading to reroutes for several BSAG lines, including lines 2, 3, 10, and N10.
During the Power weekend, line 3 will run from Gröpelingen to Ulrichsplatz, then continue as line 10, and return to Gröpelingen. However, the route from the stop Eduard-Schopf-Allee to Ulrichsplatz will be different on September 7th. In the opposite direction, the line will run via Humboldtstraße, Am Dobben, Rembertistraße, and Hauptbahnhof to Gröpelingen.
Line 2 will operate from Gröpelingen to Bürgerpark during the Power weekend. On September 7th, the line will run in both directions between Doventor and Hauptbahnhof via Daniel-von-Büren-Straße and Falkenstraße.
Line 10, meanwhile, will run from Gröpelingen to Humboldtstraße, then continue as line 3, and return to Gröpelingen. A replacement bus service for line 10E will run between Domsheide and Sebaldsbrück during the Power weekend. This replacement service will also operate as night replacement traffic for line N10.
The Bremen Music Festival, coinciding with the Power weekend, will cause line 2 and 3 to be rerouted from 6 pm to the end of service on September 7th. The stops Radio Bremen, Am Brill, and Obernstraße will be skipped in both directions on this day.
Additionally, the stop Domsheide will be moved from platforms E/F to platforms K/L on September 7th. The replacement stop St. Jürgen Straße will be moved to Vor dem Steintor from September 6th to 9th.
