Under Armour Announces New Top Management: Shadman as CLO, Baxter as Americas President

Under Armour is undergoing changes in its top management. John Stanton, the Chief Legal Officer, is retiring at the end of 2022. Meanwhile, Stephanie Pugliese, President of the Americas, is leaving the company after three years in the role. The sportswear giant has announced new appointments to fill these positions.

Stanton's departure comes after nine years of service at Under Armour. He will be succeeded by Mehri Shadman, a nine-year veteran currently serving as Deputy General Counsel, Corporate and Risk, and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Shadman will take up the new role effective October 24, 2022.

Pugliese's exit follows the recent departure of CEO Patrik Frisk in June 2022. She will stay until early 2023 to help with the transition. David Baxter, the current Senior Vice President of Americas Wholesale, will take over as President of the Americas, effective October 24, 2022. Baxter previously served as CEO of Lids Sports Group. Under Armour has thanked Pugliese for her leadership during a challenging retail environment and will offer her severance benefits, including insurance coverage for 18 months and a lump sum of one and a half times her annual base salary.

Under Armour has filled two key positions following recent changes in its leadership. Mehri Shadman will take over as Chief Legal Officer, and David Baxter will become President of the Americas. The company has expressed gratitude to Stephanie Pugliese for her service and wishes her well in her future endeavors.
