Update on construction and infrastructure: September 2025

On the 18th of September 2025, the Building Wales Together event is set to take place at the Utilita Arena, Cardiff. This event marks the launch of the new Building Materials Framework Agreement (Ffrâm24), the successor to the previous NPS-CFM-0085-18.

Ffrâm24 is now managed by Adra, and the Framework Manager, Martin Burger, can be contacted for more information at [email protected]. Interested individuals are encouraged to register for the event, which is open to both the public and private sector.

The event offers an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore the future of procurement, operational deliveries, and specifications within the building sector. Colleagues from the Commercial Delivery team will be available to provide advice and guidance on collaborative frameworks for the Welsh Public Sector.

The Building Wales Together event features over 50 exhibitors, including frameworks, suppliers, and manufacturers. Many of these exhibitors are based in Wales, showcasing the local talent and commitment to sustainable procurement.

One of the highlights of the event is the reduced price for potassium acetate from Safecote under lot 5 of the rock salt and associated products framework (WGCD-BU-131-25). This price reduction will start on 1 October 2025 and end on 31 March 2026. The updated pricing schedule for the rock salt and associated products framework is available on the Sell2Wales website (login required).

The event supports the Social Partnership and Public Procurement (Wales) Act 2023, focusing on socially responsible public procurement. Ffrâm24 is part of the Wales Collaborative Procurement Pipeline, further emphasising its commitment to sustainable practices.

For more information about Ffrâm24 or the Building Wales Together event, please e-mail CommercialProcurement.Buildings@our website. The Framework Manager of Ffrâm24 organising the event is Diane Brooks. Don't miss out on this opportunity to shape the future of sustainable procurement in Wales!
