The massive GMC Hummer EV Pickup, even fresh from the factory, exudes a commanding presence, whether discussing its visual impact or its hefty curb weight (over 9,000 pounds). The Edition 1 pushed the envelope further, with an MSRP of $113,000 in 2021. But it seems one owner wasn't content and commissioned Apocalypse Manufacturing and SoFlo Customs to take it to the next level, resulting in this red, bed-lined beast strutting on custom wheels.

One word to describe this creation? "Red." The exterior boasts red bedliner panels, red paint on mirror caps, a bold red leather interior (among other materials), and red accentuation on the wheels. Noticeably, the matte black "Apocalypse" badging on the rear ranks amongst its most subtle details.

According to Hemmings listing, this Edition 1 has mere 6,712 miles under its belt. Crunching some numbers, each mile travelled translates to approximately $17 for this Hummer's ownership privilege, without factoring in the costs of modifications. Per the listing, this particular Hummer sports a solid steel brush guard up front, and the Kevlar-infused bed lining used for the exterior. The 22-inch wheels, equipped with 37-inch mud-terrains, appear surprisingly modest on this vehicle.

The owner disclosed that the vehicle originally left the factory in Interstellar White before receiving Apocalypse's "Strikeforce" treatment, which included slantback bed sides, a brush guard, and the red interior and exterior overhaul. The seller also informed that the tailgate replacement was due to damage incurred while reversing, a matter documented in its Carfax report.

Intriguingly, a scale model, presumably RC, of the Hummer (also painted red) is photographically depicted alongside the vehicle in the listing. That's neat!

While the Strikeforce package may have commanded a reasonable fee, the six-figure investment clearly applies to this custom Hummer. Whether the final sale price approaches the original investment is yet to be seen, but given the remaining days on the listing, we're skeptical.
